About 6 months ago I bought a Philips 37PF5520D lcd tv, for the first month or so it was fine and had no problems with it, however I seem to now have a problem that wont go away.
After extended viewing (approx 3 hours or more) the tv will occasionally turn itself onto standby mode for about 5 or 6 seconds and then switch itself back on, while it is doing this the power light stays green the whole time and does not go red.
The tv has been back to Philips twice now but the problem is still there, I really dont want to send it back again just yet because of the world cup is on and they dont offer a replacement set while they repair your existing set. (my only other tv is a 14" portable tv)
Has anyone else had any problems like this?
Should I try to get a new tv from philips?
Any help would be much appreciated.
