robbies new single a flop
when it entered at 22 last week i thought that was on downloads alone but apprently that was on physical sales as well and this week it wasnt even in the top 40
|

No the physical was last week, it entered on physical alone. It didnt do well on downloads at all.

But he's sold loads of albums though hasn't he.
Robbie's fan base are maturing just like he is, and older music buyers go for the albums, not singles I think. |

Honestly, I love that track by Robbie. It sounds like an Erasureīs track and I think itīs better than the 2 first singles from his latest album.

It's a good song but I don't think it was marketed well enough. Anyway Robbie is definitely the type of artist that sells albums more than singles.

Intensive Care is very good as an album, i always thought they'd have trouble lifting singles off it though as very few stand out..The best ones to release were Ghosts and Your Gay Friend - but they're far too rude to release for the general public..so they've settled for the bland songs. For the next album it'd be nice to have a mixture of chambers and duffy, then we might be onto a winner.

The album has been out for ages and several singles have already been released from it - later singles rarely do well. Plus I agree that it wasn't marketted very well but it doesnt really matter. The album had loads of success and that's enough.
