Hi,

Can the TF5800 record a series of programmes all from 1 tuner on the same day with no overlaps on diffrent or same channels?

If there was over laps then this could done on the second tuner?

For example: Tuner 1

BBC1 9am - 11am, BBC1 1PM-2PM, BBC2 4PM -5PM, BBC3 7PM -9PM, ITV4 8PM -11.30PM

You set the timers or select the programmes you want in the epg and it'll do the rest.

If you can try to avoid using the word "series", as in "series links" much favoured of our Tivo friends, then it'll make life less confusing.

In fact with any twin tuner PVR the deployment of tuners involves no user intervention. You just set timers and they get on with it (usually ). Obviously if you try and set 3 at the same time they will tell you it cannot be done.

Actully I have a friend who has been using a Twin Tuner Digifusion quite successfully for three months and she was not even aware until yesterday when I bored her with an explanation that it had any tuners at all.

I like mine in oil. Hate brine, and fresh spring water seems to be all marketing spiel.
