I have a Maxim 32' LCD/TFT TV I bought from PC World about a month ago for £599.

Basically recently I have noticed it get's VERY hot at the front.

After it's been running for a few hours putting your hand on the actual screen itself it's very very hot. It actually scared me quite a bit!

Are all/most LCD's like this (ie. is it the technology?)?? My 15' PC TFT Certainly isn't hot!

hi there i have a videoseven 27 inch and it does the same it get very hot i think its because there is very little ventalation in them one night mine got that hot i thought to myself i could cook a egg on it

ps my seems to get the hottest in the middle of the picture
