Samsung 32" DTV Problem
AceO

Model Number: WS32A116DSXXEU

I have only had this set for 2 weeks and up untill now it has been working great.

The problem is that now (in DTV mode) it will not scan for channels. It will do so in analogue mode but when scanning for digital channels it stays on 0 and freezes. The process can then not be cancelled untill you power down completely and then back on again.

There is no real reason for this to happen, no mistreatment and the signal is still as strong as ever.

Im am reluctant to reset the tv as I may loose the channels I already have stored. Any ideas? Thanks in advantce as I am stumped.

can you get digital channels on a freeview box? might be that you have a weak signal/need a digital aerial?

No thats not the case mate as the tv still works (can still get digital chanells) but the problem occurs when scanning for extra chanells. It used to scan but now it just freezes.
