Any of you guys out there know how I can convert my edited and titled Panny DVD RAM discs into DVD -r so that they can be plyed on any DVD player. I have full PC skills and burning DVD rom drives in it with NERO software. I am sure I have read somewhere in these forums that It can be done but I cannot find the thread. Thanks

Try "Rejig" which i use to convert RAM to DVD.

i also use Powerproducer as it reads RAM discs and converts to MPeg, but the quality is not always so good.Rejig is basic but it does convert to VOB files. you may then need to use say DVD shrink to edit out adverts etc (if you dont do this on the panasonic)

Also look at this link to a recent discussion regarding RAM and suitable software.

How do you get DVDShrink to cut out adverts? As far as I'm aware all you can do is set start and end frames. Is there a way to cut stuff from the middle of a program that I've not heard of?

Thanks for the info on rejig. I tried it and it worked just fine. No frills but it did the job. I had been looking at TMPGEnc and tried the trial version and that was really smooth in editing and recording etc. but at nearly $100 I think I will stick with the freebie. Once again thanks for your input and time.
