Plasma to pc by pc input!

I have ordered a Philips 42" plasma pf7520d it claims to have a pc input,what exactly is a pc input ,i`m reading about vga ,hdmi and i think i am way out of my depth,can anybody explain to me how to connect my pc to my new toy in such a way an idiot can understand the idiot of course being me.

Generally, a PC input is a VGA input, just like your PC monitor so you should just need a VGA cable.

If you connect your PC to your TV unless you have a graphics card capable of running 2 monitors you will have to use the plasma as the PC monitor, or buy an adapter.
