Nelly Furtado - Loose [Personal Review if your thinking of buying and your reviews!]

I've just heard the songs from her new album and I really likeed every song on their. In God's Hand and What I Wanted are 2 of my Fav songs, also I like the way she has added audio commentry at the beginning of songs like All Good Things What did I honeslty think you say? I think it paid off waiting all this time... but you have to like the music to listen. For example Kelly Clarkson anybody could listen, this music is more of an taste than just pick up the album and listen like Kelly Clarkson. I think she has certainly moved on alot since her last albums and can't wait to hear some more new stuff from her. I think their is more of an edge to this album than the last one, she has put alot of effort and more of her own stuff such as beats etc. If you liked I'm like a Bird you will love In God's Hand and What I Wanted these are 2 of the more powerful tracks in my eyes I feel. All Good Things This is a really up mid-tempo song and it really shows the vocals of Nelly in this track I feel. 'Flames to dust, lovers to friends, why do good things come to an end?' is the chrous from this song and you can feel the emotion in the song. Even tho it isnt an sad slow song, you can see what this song means etc. Nelly pulls this one off as she pulls off the album as well and it wont be just a one listen in my eyes. If your more into shake your ass and get down then the start of the album lets you excalty do that, with funky style popping beats that you can shake to is more of the RnB/hip hop scene. It isnt nothing heavy it's your normal RnB/hip hop music. Afriad starts off the album but this review doesnt start with Afraid Putting it on you see that this isnt your normal Nelly Album, its something new different. Promiscuous Girl (Feat. Timbaland) is more of the shake your ass type song, Nelly tries to do a tiny bit of rapping, talk fast stuff... The only song that didnt really draw me in but I did enjoy it but not as much as the others was Let Me Hair Down It didnt have that something in it.

Anyways Now I've said that what are your comments? I feel like I just done a review for the sun.

* EDIT. Looking on HMV website the song 'What I Wanted' isnt on the album My review still stays the same though.

Thanks for that, just pre-ordered the album from HMV. Only heard promiscuous and maneater but I love Maneater so much that i've decided to buy the album, plus I think Nelly is a legend, loving all her previous songs! Glad to know it's not all the same kinda stuff (hip-hoppy) like Promiscuous as this ain't my favourite kind of music.

I'm currently listening to the new album for the first time, nearly at the end and I instantly love it. All Good Things = my new favourite song.

I wasn't really a fan of the first album, bought the second one anyway and it ended up being my favourite album of its year, and one of my all time favourites.

I can see this one being my favourite of 2006 (so far) after just a few listens.

She deserves the #1 on Sunday with Maneater.
