As the tickets were expensive and I couldn't afford to go I decided I'd go and sit outside the Bowl..... good plan at the time. Drove for two hours to get there and got lost at the last moment! Parked next to someone famous, I said hello, felt like a complete idiot afterwards as I realised he was famous and wasn't a passing acquaintance.
A security guard asked why we were sitting outside, then proceeded to chat through the first ten songs..... Coudl hear how much fun the crowd were having but couldn't hear much of the concert even though I was behind the stage, through the trees! Waited for ages for Bon Jovi to come out the back door at the end, loads of fuss with the security guards and lo and behold..... they flew through in a blacked out people carrier, not the cars we'd expected and we didn't realise it was them. So on the whole, I have arrived back home feeling a bit stupid and not having much to show for it other than a dreadful shot of a people carrier whizzing past me!! I hope you all had a great time, the crowd sounded like they were enjoying it!! |

I have already watched them in Manchester as went with relatives, but live in Milton Keynes. We went to listen outside the bowl, got quite close on one of the industrial estates and could hear It's my life, Bells of Freedom, I'll be there for you, Have A Nice Day. It was better when the wind carried the sound but did sound good and like they were on top form. I hoping that tonight I will be able to hear from my back garden!

The concert was pretty damn amazing. I loved that screen especially when near the end it turned into a city!

Does anyone know how much a ticket would be from a tout outside?? I live really close to Milton Keynes (like 20 mins drive) so it wouldn't be too hard for me to drive there now.
Cheers. |

I live in Coventry not far from the "Ricoh Stadium." I can't believe the massive audience to see Bon Jovi! They are so 80's!
It caused me havoc driving to work. Nice to see a genuine band still carrying it off. |

just back from MK (2nd round
)took a lot longer to get home tonight....all the aches and pains from standing so long are more than worth it......tonights show was fantastic, am glad they sang some different songs from Saturday night. I have to say that I wasnt overly impressed with how many people were crammed into the Gold Circle area, was a hell of a lot more than Hyde Park. Also think the facilities could of been better organised.....apart from all that.........excellent show, Jon certainly gives it his all...not bad for a 44 year old (and still so bloody sexy!!) ![]() ps...more pics to follow |
