New or old version of Sony KDL32S2010

Good morning to you all.

It has been brought to my attention about the 1080 problem via HDMI connection with this TV & Sky HD box. Slightly irritating to say the least.

It has alo been brought to my attention that there are old & new models of this particular brand of TV.

If this is the case, then could anyone please explain to me the difference. I have had my KDL32S2010 since the middle of May. I have never experienced any of the clicking noise (apart from when I switch it off), and my Sky+ picture on it (SD) is as good as it could be on an LCD

Now I am due for HD install on 20th June, so I was interested to read about the 1080 problem.

The Ser No. of my TV is 4003632 & date of manufacture is 03/2006

From this information, could anyone with much more knowledge than myself, clarify whether this is indeed an old or new version of the 32S2010
