Christina Milian departs from Def Jam
This was posted on her official forum
Hey guys, Christina didn't wanna keep you in the dark for too long. All she can say right now is both her and Def Jam agreed to end their relationship due to creative differences. And she felt she wasn't getting the proper attention needed for her album. It's all for the best! And don't worry, she will have a new home soon. In the meantime be sure to go see "Pulse" and enjoy So Amazin' I wish we could of had some more singles as the album didn't really get that much promotion and was not marketed at all well. Hopefully she will move onto bigger and better things wot you all think? |

The album is a let down, although in all honesty i wasnt expecting much. I think that she may have been pushed rather than walked. Not sure where she will go now though

In The US her album was a big flop, but she goes out with Dre from the production duo Cool & Dre who produced the majority of her album, she will probably Join their label i guess epidemic records or their distributor Jive records compare her sales to another Def Jam artist who has just released an album Rihanna; #11 RIHANNA GIRL LIKE ME 50,306 3 48,987 366,067 |

when a WINDOW shuts....a DOOR opens!! I know the saying actually works out the other way, but my thinking is a little different. I know I haven't been able to write lately but I just wanted to inform u guys that I am ok. As many of you know, island/defjam and I have parted ways. Which is all for the best. Believe me, I have had a long history with the label & still got love for them over there. Understand, this is a blessing. It may not look that way right now but believe me, there is a reason for everything. So yeah, just letting you know everything is cool, No hard feelings. At the end of the day, I am proud of the album I made, love the music and I'd stand by it ANY day. For those of you who picked it up, Thank You! Also, so you know, dont beleive everything you read. I have read a couple articles about the issue and I haven't a CLUE where they get their info from! LOL, it's actually very funny. But I guess when they dont have facts they make up things to make it sounds really JUICY!! Anyway, In the meantime I am making music as we speak...PLUS, i got a movie coming out next month! So i will be making many appearances in July....I will keep you informed. Alot of positive change to come... And I will keep posting my show dates. Maybe i'll see you around. P.S. Thank you for your words of support. It means alot to me. |

I have just checked and Christina Milan did one of the most ANNOYING songs I have ever heard, with the lyric: "Dip it low, pick it up slow."
Frankly just for inflicting that horror on me, which I heard once in a shop and nearly made me want to harm myself it was so flipping annoying, her career can rot and burn in hell! That is all. |

I agree, 'So Amazin' the album was a bit of a let down but there are still some good tracks on it.
I really enjoyed 'Its About Time', and she does have talent, she just hasn't been promoted very well. I hope she gets a new label and does well for herself. |
