MP3 / wma problems

Apologies in advance if this is posted in the wrong place, but I wasn't suree where else to put it.

I need some help/advice/brick wall to bang my head off! I am transferring music tracks to my mp3 player ~ some tracks are transferring ok, whether copied & pasted or drag/dropped, others bring up an error message that says "Error copying file or folder: Cannot copy [track title]: The directory or file cannot be created"

It occurs for both wma & mp3 tracks, and for downloads as well as tracks ripped from my own cds. Does anyone know why this is happening, and how I can solve the issue?

Any advice greatly appreciated ~ cheers

Instead of copying and pasting them, or dragging and droping, right click on your mouse and choose send to Removable disk E or whatever letter comes after your file.

I'm having problems with transfering my mp3's onto my mp3 player. I tried converting them to wma but then the songs got cut short

Thanks Katie_05, but I've tried that & get the same thing. It's very annoying, and also very puzzling as its only certain files that it happens to ~ even if a load of tracks have been ripped from the same cd most will transfer ok & then a random few won't. Can't work it out at all!
