Ash was looking noticeably less puffy-faced in tonight's show. Whatever it was causing it, it seems to have passed.
![]() I just think that she's treating the house like a hotel ![]() ![]() Rumours are that she leaves today - be interesting to see what she has to say afterwards. I doubt she'd want to be in there much longer - very stressful! |

Lol! It is quite an anti-Aisleyne place nowadays, at least among the more vocal forumers.

Was it like this back in 2006? I think the forum is being really harsh on Aisleyne; she hasn't really done anything wrong. She is still my favourite HM of all time anyways.
![]() Ash has always been a controversial character but for all the hate there is far more love. It will be interesting to see whether her time in the house this time round affects her standing in this years' Favourite Housemate Poll. |

I think it's unfortunate (and even wrong) that people are turning against Aisleyne when she hasn't actually done anything very wrong that might justify it, and when she's still showing some of the positive qualities she did in bb7. (The way the show is structured and run these days, it would be difficult for her to show them all in any case.) We've reached the ridiculous situation where someone like me, who has mostly (though not always) disliked Aisleyne, now has a more positive view of her than some people who had her as one of their favourite housemates for nearly ten years. I hope that once this series is over, the "Marc effect" will dissipate and people will be able to see some things more clearly. Quote:

Over the years, ill-feeling from that time did gradually dissipate, though it still occasionally flares up. However, I should add that there were also some very good discussions back then, of Aisleyne-related things -- something that seems much less possible now. * * * It's too bad, btw, that the main Aisleyne-supporting thread from the old days has vanished. The appreciation thread was seldom used back then; and her supporters were in a strong enough position in the main forum that they didn't need it. |

The old Aisleyne is very much still there.
You look at those videos I posted on the last page, especially the one where she's making faces with Chloe. http://bigbrother.channel5.com/day-4...-poses-cameras The bit where she pulls her face forward and says "I went on the back of my Daddy's motorbike, and I said Go Faster, Go Faster, and he went so fast my face went like this." That's the same Ash who stuffed her face with maltezers. That's the Ash without vanity. That is the Aisleyne I love. Sure she's more used to the champagne lifestyle nowadays, and she goes OTT when drunk, and I don't understand the Danny thing. But she's very much the same girl. |

Thanks for your explanations, Thrombin, Veri, and kimotag. ![]() Quote:
There was the infamous 'Ash/Nikki Wars', but the pro-Ash people were in the majority back then (at least online) Now we have the Marc /Ash Wars. It may be just my perception, but when I click on the post history of someone who starts an anti-Ash thread, they are almost invariably a Marc supporter. I don't know if it works the other way around yet!

She's recently had tonsilitis (and flu?) this is what has made her voice croaky.

She always found it more stressful than appearances showed, In BB7, even fairly early on when she appeared very self-confident, she admitted to being a bag of nerves most of the time and commented that Susie helped calm her down a little. By the end of BB she was in her own words 'a crying mess' and expressed surprise that people had voted for her to win.
Now we've got people on BBBOTS suggesting Ash and Marc might 'get it together'?? Let me think of that for a minute.....errmmm......no.

It's partly down to that, and also posters on the main forum making every little thing she does, sound about 100x worse than it actually is or twisting it to their own agenda.

Exactly. I am just ignoring most Aisleyne-related threads/posts now because it's futile.

Aisleyne somewhat vindicated by Marc's admission that he was trying to antagonize people this week. A good final day in the house as well.

My opinion of Aisleyne has really changed over the years. Wasn't a fan of her all those years ago but have grown to like her recently.
Plus she tweeted me tonight! I was impressed by how often she seems to keep in touch with her fans looking at her profile. |

She once asked her website for any copies of magazines she'd been in (for her portfolio) and since I was an avid collector of all things Aisleyne I sent a bunch to her through her management. The next thing I know she personally rings me up at work to thank me! That was one surreal conversation I can tell you

Fourth day of filming today for the Channel 5 programme. In fact, its the fifth day in total as Ash filmed for it a few weeks back, too.
Ash reveals to the Daily Mirror Online that she is prone to sending private messages to the President of the USA when under the influence --> http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrit...ushing-6086654 Note: This is part of a longer interview she gave to the DM and they promise us more videos to come

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace lets rip on 'vile' Helen Wood: 'I think she's just a confused fan Watch Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace gush over 'hero' Margaret Thatcher - only to find out she died TWO years ago Yeah I think Ash and Bianca had a disagreement over the terms and conditions of this silly 'girl code' thing. Or something like that? |
