This must be at least the tenth such thread of this kind...

Which to me pretty much says she is ...unlike ALL the other HMs... not allowed to e critised for minor things unlike ALL the other HMs... in this and ALL the other Shows... this is BB... no some human interest documentary.

Getiing a bit tedious... imo... and diametrically defeats the point it is supposedly trying to make in being repeated Ad Nauseum.
What are you talking about? She has got heaps of criticism over minor things whilst other HMs pretty much get off scot free in comparison.

She has even been villified for things which in many cases appear to be the speculative imagination from the minds of her fiercest critics based on what they reckon she's going to do. Or what they reckon she's thinking.
And then the criticisms descend to resorting to her looks, and how ugly she is.
Do you ever complain about the firece negative comments of her?
At least when somebody is being positive they aren't harming anybody.

And even some of her supporters sometimes point out her flaws.

When supporters are faced with hostility of the like in your post here, it makes it kind of difficult for them to articulate what they perceive to be her flaws when you're having a go at them.
Would you feel encouraged to post what you feel are flaws with your favourite housemate if somebody was having a go at you and your fellow supporters.
When it comes down to having a go at fans of a housemate it's not the best environment for discussion.

Nobody has claimed that Ash is a saint, and you're just exaggerating the views of her supporters.
Many ash supporters are quite laid back and simply like her, and may not necessarily mind if she doesn't actually win.

I don't think it's very constructive to have a go at supporters of a housemate because you simply don't like to see a lot of support for her.
It has shown to tend to lead to problems as opposed to encouraging discussion.

If people like somebody, they just like them. You can't just complain about them for liking a housemate, it's kind of negative.

It was the same with Pete supporters. They had done nothing wrong to anybody, but they too got this reaction to them as supporters with some using mock exaggeration of their support by saying "Saint Pete" to undermine them.
I've never seen supporters of either Ash or Pete elevate them to the status of 'saint'.

It's just not constructive at all to undermine sets of fans of any housemate, because it's negative and destructive, and we're supposed to be discussing the HMs, not their fans or supporters.

I just don't understand the hatred for her.
Yes maybe she's not everyone's cup of tea.
Grace was really nasty so I got why people didn't like her.
Jayne was two faced but people even liked her and she got a good reception but what is it Ash has done that is sooo bad?????
People talk of manipulation and evil. Where. I just don't see it

Don't know about Aisleyne herself, your lot are doing a good job of turning me against her.

Aisleyne is the best HM they've ever had , this year would've been unwatchable without her .

In fact before she came it was a disaster, the gang mentality was rife and the monsters were ruining it .

She was such a fascinating girl , BB itself was a corrupt game this year, but Ash's character contrasted to all their scheming and cons.

Big thankyou to Ash , I have so much admiration for her.

<Hi, Tillybud>

I think Virgil Tracy gave us some very wise words

BTW, I haven't seen any other BB's so I couldn't say that Aisleyne was best HM ever. I trust the judgement of you experts, though

Trust me 'cos it's a FACT.

only joking, I'm not one of those that imagines their opinions are facts .

I've watched it every year, the show itself has been getting steadily worse, too much tabloid influence, too much interference, too much rule breaking (by contestants and BB) , when I started watching this year I was pretty appaled by the treatment of shabaz , nikki's frighteningly strange behavior, people walking out etc.
I was on the point of giving up on it, and then Ash arrived , altho I didn't think much of her at first.

But she was so diferent to the others, something about her ... kept watching and wow did she ever turn out to be something.

Aisleyne's win was well worth my 20 or so votes! Last time I felt passionate about an HM was Alex in BB3 and he scored a massive 2 votes from me in the final She was the most compelling HM so far - she'll be hard to top!

Well done Aisleyne - hope you're well

she wasn't even the best in this one, there were only 2 decent people in the whole show and they were 1st and 2nd.

I'm with Virgil on this - she was the best BB housemate ever - in my opinion.
I do appreciate that others see things differently, nothing wrong with that at all.
It does not mean that either of our opinions are rubbish.
