I've lived and breathed all the joys and woes of Aisleyne's last year. She's the only celebrity I really care about and I wish her all the success in the world. I'm well chuffed that so many people speak so highly of Aisleyne after the elapse of one year and the near completion of BB8.

i still cant believe its a year since the bb7 final!!

watching this year's BB has only re-confirmed how special Aisleyne was .
this year, like BBs 1-6, I like some people but I don't have strong feelings for them .
However with Ash it was like a whole other level , Ash is the most real HM they've ever had , with Ash I actually cared about her as a person , I wasn't just hoping she'd win , she wasn't just someone on the tv , I had enormous concern and affection for Ash .
and I doubt that'll happen again on BB , it's a rare thing for someone to 'come through' the tv screen like that .

I totally agree. She came though my TV as well. I wish she would do it more often these days. The affection I had for her is stronger than ever after one year.
I miss Aisleyne. This years HM's are really bad.

They seem to want a female winner this year and they want a gimmicky one. How predictable. Aisleyne should have won last year purely on being the best HM ever and such a good person who wasn't afraid of showing true emotions and standing up for her friends.

Good to see Ash telling it like it is. Shame we don't get to see the dresses on which she is commenting. Apparently NW had an Aisleyne Day last week to celebrate the anniversary of her exit from BB7. Hopefully they should post some pictures on their website soon.

Big Brother 7's top female Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has become a patron for Brain Tumour UK.
The 28-year-old model became aware of the charity when her best friend Lisa Connell was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year. After taking part in a 10K run in aid of Brain Tumour UK last month, Aisleyne decided that she wanted to work with the organisation on a regular basis.
"When I discovered that Brain Tumour UK received donations of less than £200,000 per year I was shocked and knew I needed to join the team and help raise awareness and money to make a difference to people's suffering," Aisleyne told Easier.com.
"Compared to other charities Brain Tumour UK’s donations are seriously low although a surprising number of people of all ages and all backgrounds suffer from this often devastating condition."
The organisation's chief executive Jenny Baker said: "Brain Tumour UK is delighted to welcome Aisleyne on board as our newest patron to help us lead by example and inspire others, especially young people who may themselves be living with a brain tumour or others who are planning to help the charity raise much needed funds."
Good for Aisleyne, one of the best ever BB housemates.
