Heh heh, so it wasn't actually a Samurai sword - it was merely a miniature

Ash is due to shoot the first segments of 'Aisleyne' the series for RED this week - should be exciting times ahead, then the following week she's in preparations for the launch of 'Unique by Aisleyne' clothes range

Best of luck to all concerned in both ventures. Exciting times ahead. She won't be falling on her sword just yet.

This will surely open more doors for her perhaps even in America. There is more to Ash than glamour, she obviously has a skill in fashion design, she studied it at college. Red TV have presented her with a brilliant opportunity. She can showcase her skills, which is bound to make her appealing to other production companies, who will eventually expose her to wider audiences. She is bubbly attractive, she interacts very well with people and she has a caring nature. I am not saying she is perfect but who is. She does however have the personality for TV. It is really great how Red TV see her potential, something others have tried to play down and ridicule and ignore her. The truth is about to manifest. I am so glad that this is not Big Brother related she is breaking into mainstream, rather than to try and milk the big brother experience....

Aisleyne has her own show?

Endemol and Heat magazine will be choking on their pot noodles that a housemate they hate has acheived this without their backing or seal of approval .

Anyone can be successful if they go down the glamour root.

Should you be posting sarcastic remarks on an appreciation thread? Specially as most here are very aware of who you really are yet again

If you have SKY, Red is on Channel 186. 'Aisleyne' scheduled to debut in about 4 weeks time. Watch your EPG for listings, or visit this page:

There should be plenty of repeats. Not sure about the copyright situation as regards internet clips, but I expect OA will be trying to get some on their site.

Thanks for asking but that type of thing always gets swamped by the Nikki fanatics so is never a true representation

And Update from Officially Aisleyne

An update just to keep everyone up to speed. There won't be any new news/rumours this week. Aisleyne is very busy with the 2 major projects she has on the go at the moment and is working very hard (busier than she has ever been). It is however a lot of work behind the scenes. She is playing a very active role in the clothing range and has not just put her name to someone elses work.

The TV show is also very time consuming work and at present Aisleyne has very little time for anything else. It's all work work work at the moment. If there is anything to report you can be sure you will hear about it here first.

Looking forward to seeing the results....................

Yes

At least she is moving into things other than glamour, she's thinking about her longterm future.

I think it's great she's been given the opportunity to use her talent in Fashion design for which she studied for and an industry she has already worked. Big Brother has opened doors for her. Thanks to Unique Boutique for giving her a chance. Also thanks to Red TV for giving her, her own show 60 gigantic minutes long 12 shows with a possible extension. Her own production team and with her company having control over how the show takes shape...wow wow. Firstly it will be a brilliant showcase for her and secondly I am sure it will get her noticed and she will end up on other shows. It has worked out for Ash after all she went through.

I expect big things from Unique Boutique and hope to see the Aisleyne Show on mainstream TV before long.

Hot off the press Aisleyne news

We can now reveal here first in the forum, before the official press announcement next week, that the 'Unique by Aisleyne' brand will be more than the already announced range of funky and glamorous dresses.

At the Pure show, starting Feb 10th, 'Unique by Aisleyne' will also be showing a complete range of swimwear.

Aisleyne started working on ideas and designs for swimwear last summer. Now UbA is announcing a comprehensive swimwear range of approx. 30 different garments including bikinis, swimsuits, wraps and sarongs. These will be on show at Pure and, like the dress range, available in retail outlets shortly afterwards.

I just wanted to say......

I am so glad Ash has been given the opportunity to use her skill as a fashion designer (which she studied for) which is an industry she has worked in before. It is wonderful that Unique Boutique have recognized she was more than just a pretty face strutting around in their dresses and that they have given her the opportunity to use her skill. A wise move IMHO Ash is increasingly looking like the most productive housemate to come out of BB7 and perhaps overall as time goes on. The best thing she did was to set up her own company, although I think she was grateful for the opportunity to do more glamour modelling she has proved beyond reasonable doubt that there is more to her than this. I am not sure the agents she previously signed up to with saw this or the media to that matter with the way she is often portrayed. I wish Ash every success with this venture together with her up and coming TV show that should hopefully end up on a more commercial channel. Whatever the end result IMHO Ash has won a personal battle, it is 2008 and she is still making waves without having to milk the big brother experience, It's almost as if she's just started out....

Thanks mich007 and thanks to secrethousemate and others who bring Aisleyne news to this corner of the universe.

I don't get my butt across to "other sites" as often as I should but I did just now and it was a very enlightening visit.

I guess I'm not the only one who has a permanent subscription to this thread and the news bursts, here, help a lot.

More good luck to Aisleyne and kudos to her active supporters, past and present.

Aisleyne in Manchester today for more meetings, with TV crew in tow. Apparently last week's studio filming was postponed until Friday. Its basically going to be very intense preparations for the ubA launch with RED filming a lot of it, for the next couple of weeks.
