Thanks secrethousemate. I'm looking forward to hearing about it from anyone with access to Red TV.

Anyone looking into [subscription] internet streaming sites with Red TV to watch our Ash?

I've just found Dutch company gonnahaves which lists Red TV @ 400 Kbps.

AFAICS, at present, the sub is 10 euro (~£7.50) for a year - well cheaper than Sky @ £192 a year (minimum?).

Might be an appropriate time to take advantage of their promotional offer?

^ I'm not too optimistic about gonnahaves because, if they're just relaying WebTV to countries which wouldn't normally have access to them, Red TV's site must be streaming, anyway, and accessible to the UK (free?).

It's guess it's possible that Red could make the programmes available on their videos page after their TV airings, whether they stream WebTV, or not (and I can't find where, or if, they do ).

If enough of us registered our interest via their contact form**, it might persuade them to "do the right thing".

RED TV had a live stream on their site for a week as a 'trial' over Christmas, but it was discontinued, sadly

I presume we are all aware that Ash is in the final of the Housemates Elimination Game on the main forum?

This will run for a week, and starts Tomorrow night at about 8pm.

The line up is

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace
Chanelle Hayes
Nikki Grahame
Daniel Bryan
Amy Jackson
Michelle Bass
Nadia Almada
Lesley Brain
Emma Greenwood
Makosi Musambasi
Allison Hammond
Marco Sabba
Nicky Maxwell
Imogen Thomas
Calista Robertson

Basically the idea is that everybody starts with equal points, and you vote your favourite +1 point, and the one you want to eliminate -1 point.
You then have to wait 15 minutes before you are allowed to vote again. Final exact rules are still being formulated.

For the first six days of the final two housemates will be eliminated each night untill there are only three left for the head to head final on the seventh night.

I hope anyone available will pitch in and make sure Ash gets as far as possible in the competition.

Well Ash got through OK tonight, but it looked sticky for a while.

I won't be able to give it my full attention tomorrow, so we could do with a few bods on the ball from 8pm to make sure she doesn't go under.

Think of it as your civic duty.

A busy week ahead for Aisleyne W/C 4/2/08

On Monday, Aisleyne will be in an all day photo shoot modelling 'Unique by Aisleyne' dresses and swimwear. The Red TV crew will be on hand to film the day's events as part of the 'Aisleyne' series.

There will also be a business meeting with the people at Unique in Manchester on Wednesday afternoon.

Update on the above *****************************

It now seems fairly certain that UbA will not be promoting the swimwear range in the forthcoming press release. The principal reason is that the dress collection, ready for Pure, is now larger than anticipated. Tomorrow's photoshoot for newspapers and magazines, will therefore be exclusively of dresses and similar.

Although it is planned to have the swimwear range at Pure, it will now be photographed on another day, with a separate press release. It is hoped that this will occur in the 10 days between the end of Pure and leaving for the Dublin show.
-----

Aisleyne LTD now plan to go to Birmingham for the studio filming late Tuesday afternoon, staying there overnight to complete session by lunchtime Wednesday. Aisleyne LTD will then travel on to Manchester as already planned for meeting, prior to returning to London in time for Aisleyne to attend the shoestring party.

Aisleyne will be attending a VIP party held by Shoestring on Wednesday 6th February in Pall Mall.

No doubt an excellent opportunity to show a UbA creation.

It's all happening right now, I am so glad she has taken this direction I think she will stun some of the media and many of those who have accused her of being a nobody into silence. This is much better than I could have hoped.

Whatever the results she has won a person battle already....

In a way I am glad now that Endemol didn't champion for one she is not looking desperate like some and it's helped IMHO to motivate her in a positive way using skills/talent she already ready had to allow people to see her in a different light. No doubt some will never be convinced or they won't want to admit it, but that's life.

Personally I think the best is yet to come.....

This news was reported a while ago on Officially Aisleyne but I am posting it here as it ties in with what is happening at the moment.

Aisleyne's dress label 'Unique by Aisleyne' is being officially launched at Pure, the annual womenswear exhibition, being held at Olympia 10-12th Feb as part of Fashion Week. 'Unique by Aisleyne' will be exhibiting in the 'Impulse' area of Pure, the section for 'showcasing popular high fashion and casual wear for the latest trends'. Included will be a fashion show on the catwalk and a launch party.

update on todays photo-shoot

Todays shoot finished around 19:00. Aisleyne modelled a total of 22 new 'Unique by Aisleyne' dresses up to around 17:00. Aisleyne LTD then sat down and selected photos of 6 different dresses, chosen at random but different styles and colours, for overnight retouching and finishing. These have to go to a magazine in the morning. There was very positive feedback on every garment from all those present - 13 people for a period mid afternoon. Aisleyne LTD will now be choosing which photos they want to use from a short list of around 900 images tomorrow evening while in Birmingham. The finished photos will all be available for press publications in time for Pure. Subject to the time pressures of preparing for Pure, a selection of photos will be made available on the gallery.

The Pure event is trade-only, but it should be the ideal platform from which to exhibit the ubA range. The decision to launch the swimwear range at a later date seems sensible. There's a chance some sections of the media would only be interested in the bikinis and stuff and ignore the dresses altogether.

Another event in Ash's diary this week is Celebrity Nose of the Year on Thursday night. Plenty of famous conks on display

She certainly is. Those pictures are stunning.

And she's through to the final of the Elimination game Tomorrow night (tonight now), with Chanelle and Michelle.

Hi, Ais fans.

Just thought I'd inform you all of tonight's grand final of the Housemate Elimination Game and let you know that the 'ghetto princess' is competing against Chanelle BB8 and Michelle BB5 for the winning title.

Chanelle has a lot of backing from her appreciators, Michelle doesn't really look like she stands a chance from the outset and Ais has you guys. Maybe with everyone's help we can get her to the top...

I'll come back later on to post a link. Please show her your support - she deserves to win.

Oh dear me. Well I DID try. I think Chanelle's fans have been cloning themselves...

Well at least she got third.

I'd hoped the Chanelle fans would target Ash and Michelle equally, but they mostly went for Ash tonight.

Unfortunately they are my three all time favourite BB girls (Ash comes first of course), so I was severely torn.

Elimination Game aside, I'd just like to tell you all how much I really do appreciate Aisleyne as both a housemate and as a person.

I spoke to her on the phone once (during her radio show) and she was really polite and friendly. I'm from Manchester and she started to do a Scouse accent, so I corrected her.

Out of interest, does she still do her radio show?

Her media work is all to do with her TV show at the moment.

She HAS been in Manchester quite a bit recently, because that's where Unique Collections Ltd is based.
