I'm quite sad she hasn't kept on with the simpler, more natural look from her make under in Snog...

But good to see her gearing up for her book launch.

Details of Ash's plans for next week are now on OA. As they are subject to change, I suggest you all check out the site for latest news.

Ash is doing a PA in a village pub near Preston on Friday night, and next week she will be doing a lot of TV and radio to promote the book, as well as being the first celeb to face the Doritos Dodgeball Challenge, in a team made up of members of general public.

Ash exclusive in NOW! magazine this week, in which she tells of her 2-year struggle with a pair of stalkers, one of whom forced her to move home

I will try and scan this in once publication has expired

Another interview with a weekly mag promised for next week, and Ash is also set to be Reveal's BB blogger for the 3rd year in a row for the upcoming BB10 series

That did catch me by surprise. I thought the book was out on the 7th. I got
mine from Waterstones.

Aisleyne had a nice interview on Talk Radio Europe in which she discussed her book. She mentioned the influence of Jade on her career aspirations. She also talked about coming TV work and future plans to write another book.

Tonight is Aisleyne's book launch party at Studio Valbonne.

Tomorrow she has a busy day of TV/radio interviews planned followed by at midnight, a guest presenting slot on The Ian Collins Show on Talksport Radio.

http://new.talksport.net

Ash of course knows very little about sport. Should be interesting

I listen to Ian Collins a lot and he never talks about sport. She is on at midnight(i think) which is the part of the show called the adult hour.

Also i couldnt believe when i heard that Aisleyne was friends with The Iron Mike Tyson.

Dear me. What a horrible life she has had really. I am quite upset. I think the episode when (having left home during her GCSE's) she tried to come back home and found that her mother had changed the locks was the hardest bit. Who on earth would do that? What a horror she was. And her friend who was shot is a real lump in the throat bit of the book.

I agree. Listening to her story on the Ian Collins show, you can see that she had a hard life and taking that into account i think she has done very well for herself

A link and a pic I hadn't seen before, about the Phrantic Psycho collective Ash's mum was part of in the late '70s.

Back to the book.

Thanks everyone, for all the links and news. Appreciated.

For me, this last week once again confirms that Aisleyne remains one of BB's most fascinating and endearing housemates. Good luck to her.

'I'm more than just a BB babe'

... Aisleyne said: "I know I've got a good story. It's not like, 'Oh I was on Big Brother and it was, like, great.'

"I'm much more than that.

"It's a real, true life story and all about what it says on the cover - Guns, Gangs and Glamour."

It's pretty hard-hitting stuff.

The stand-out tales include witnessing her dad's suicide attempt as a toddler, being beaten to an inch of her life by a vicious bully and running away from her religion-obsessed mum to live in some of the most dangerous hostels in London ...

Full article and pictures, the Sun, 09/05/09.

Probably best to keep those photographs on the appreciation thread. It would only encourage people to throw brickbats (whatever they are) if there were to stray onto the main forum.

Have you noticed that Digital Spy have picked the story up now, wonkey, but guess which picture THEY use to illustrate it. Yep, your favourite .......NOT!

I don't like their recast title quote - it gives a very misleading impression of what Aisleyne is quoted as saying.

And of course those pictures are from a 2006 shoot very soon after BB7, though (inexplicably) some have never been published before.

I suppose the explanation is that someone else made the decision which pics to publish originally, and this time, if The Sun are to be believed, ash went through them to choose her own favourites. Remember in a single shoot literally hundreds of pics can be taken and only a small handful ever used.
