I'm happy she finally got a Number 1 but it's unfortunate, to me, that it had to be with this song, her previous material was much better.

The song is horrible. I hate her new image. She couldn't sell with her last record so she decided to whore herself out and voila she's back at the top of the charts with songs that are short on lyrical merit and clothes that don't cover much up

She's exploring different styles, and keeping it fresh. She looks great. No one complains when Madonna changes her image and she's a total whore who can't sing and doesn't even write her own songs, Nelly is an original artist with her own sound and style(s)!

She's jumping on the first available musical band-wagon that passes by in an attempt to resurrect her flagging career. |

I have to say, a lot of artists like to explore dfferent avenues in their music producing and song writing techniques and I do not doubt that Nelly has wanted to do this style for a while but felt compelled to stick to her "folky" & "different" style cause it got her noticed but not all changes artists make bode well....Remember the Spice Girls trying to do R'n'B? I just don't buy this new style.
When she first came out she was something new, fresh and different, a nice change from all the other "samey" R'n'B acts, now she's just like all the others... |

I'm please for her, shame she had to go "Fake urban" to appeal to enough people, she was better when she was slightly left-field.

All artists are entitled to a change of scenery, that's what keeps their music fresh, Madonna does it all the time. However as I have previously mentioned Nelly is hardly a newcomer to the urban/r&b scene.
