Motorola V3X Music Player Problem
Libra28
11-06-2006
Hi ,
When i copy mp3 files onto my phones memory card, I am told to put them into the audio folder. I do this, but when i go to music player, then browse, the songs dont show up

I can play one song at a time by going to sounds, in the media section of the phone, but why cant i play them through the music player?

The phone is orange branded, so it has the orange music player on it, but it says in the manual that i should be able to see the songs on the music player????

Any help greatly appreciated

Good afternoon!

The music player is orange's own, and causes problems on the phone - well, it does on mine - you can only download toons off t'interweb onto there, although there is a tool called music player manager that might work to transfer to the V3x.

I think the user guide is a generic one, and its referring to the Motorola Music player.

In the media folder they should be in there under sounds. The select Options, Create new, playlist and choose the ones you want on there. You can also set your hot key to go straight to the folder when pressed!

I've been trying to reflash mine back to the original software, but am having no luck at all with it!!!

the best advice I've gotten has been to go to www.planetmotox.net.

To tell the truth, I've given up - just can't get RSD Lite (one of the progs you need) to realise there's a phone attached to the computer.

Let me know how you get on, if you get it done, maybe you could give me some pointers?
