cooking oil in SGH-D600

sunday. my mother was cooking a chicken, on a silly little tray.

my phone was in the kitchen on the worktop, mother takes chicken out of oven, puts chicken tray on worktop, oil flies, phone covered.

it's working still, but the slide mechanism's grinding & stiffer than it was.
i've cleaned it as best i can (without dismantling it, as i'm afraid to do so)
the only other place i can see it seeping in was the earpiece speaker

if it was water i wouldn't be all that bothered, my e700 survived that enough times
any advice on what to test/further cleaning/a guide to dismantling would be good...
thanking you...

Oil, being non conductive, is unlikely to cause you any electrical problems.

Messiness is likely to be your main worry. Plus the sliding mechanism.

yeah, i didn't think it'd wreck electricals, after all they built that computer in a vat of oil,
i want it cleaned mainly because it stinks... and i cannot STAND the smell of oil >_<

been using it on speakerphone since my sister taxed my hands free kit.
people on the bus weren't best pleased :P
