always been with O2 myself.. plus most of the people i know are on o2 as welll, so cheaper calls between us all.

They tried to get on 3 when my contract finished, but i just wasnt impressed with them.. to many hidden charges

Why is O2 doing so well on this poll?

For me its because they include 0844/0845/0870 and dial-up data in their contract inclusive minutes.

I didnt half miss this when with one of the other networks!

Hutchison 3G used to do this but stopped.

T-Mobile (especially now I have network coverage thoughout my house thanks to 3G) - excellent customer services, "unlimted" GPRS/lo-speed 3G access (which works most days, unlike Oranges), and erm what more do you need?

I dont even have insurance of my phone, compared to the problems i know someone on o2 had having to send it back etc im extremly impressed”

Thats why I used to like Orange - it become tedious once you are on your 13th handset because the replacements keep breaking (or don't even work properly when delivered - I think one of my replacements was delivered the day after the previous one)

I know this is completely off topic but easyMobile are now issuing 07726 numbers

O2 for me. People may question the poll results but I think they speak for themselves, as do the customer satisfaction surveys that are released by independant companies.

I've been on O2 for 2 years now after moving over from Germany and they seem light years ahead of where Cellnet were when I moved away from the UK in 1999. Maybe I'm biased though...

O2 are running away with this but I don't see why? I hear nothing but bad things about O2, almost everyone I know has left O2, they used to e the best pay as you go network now they are the worst in my opinion.

You're not alone - I don't see why O2 are running away with this either dealwise, lets take a quick look at what's available;

Stop The Clock (Vodafone) v. Talkalotmore (O2)
500 anytime xnet minutes for £25 (3), v. Calls xxx (O2)
Free Text Topup (Orange) v. Messaging Option (O2)

and, at risk of being shot down for sounding like a broken record, O2 customer service is not the best. As opposed to dragging up the usual issues, I'll just say this - try asking them how much it costs to ring the Isle of Man on pay as you go...

Well, wot a knot we're all getting into over this subject! The fact of the matter is we all choose the network that suits our needs most. I chose Orange PAYG simply for there PAYG Data services I.E I can retrieve my email from any number of different mail address and providers, direct to my phones inbox. Orange also provide FREE email alerts. I get 1000 FREE texts for topping up £30 per month, 1meg of GPRS, and Magic Numbers (15p for 60mins to other Orange numbers, anytime) Now thats a good service.

I've voted Vodafone as I have always used them. I tried Orange a few years back (not recently) and just didn't like the service or charges. My family have had a couple of mobiles on T-Mobile, which in my oppinion is extremely expensive, and the coverage of their network on this house is useless. I haven't really tried O2. Vodafone I've always been very happy with.

O2 have great reception, that's all that really matters.

As for Orange who I have just changed to, I keep getting cut off in EC3 (Moorgate!)

Not acceptable from Orange - AND they stuffed up my direct debit three times AND their customer line is always receiving an unusually high volume of calls, meaning you have to wait 20 mins - what a load of crap!

I also find it weird how easyMobile is low as they offer 1p texts and 3p/min calls

O2 don't provide the customer services for Tesco Mobile, Genesis or CPW.
