Hey Joe (Hendrix) has a fantastic bit of bass going on, especially towards the end of the track.

Newborn by Muse is hard to beat too.

crap as they are now, simple minds spring to mind for some reason - off the top of my head, i'd go for waterfront.

or something like dr mabuse by propaganda.

and there must be loads of new order - from the obvious blue monday to something less well known like your silent face.

the art of noise - beatbox
prince - sign o the times
big audio dynamite - e=mc2
faithless - god is a dj
FGTH - two tribess
seal - killer
sisters of mercy - dominion/mother russia

but the winner could well be the godlike i am the resurrection by the stone roses.

I still can't get my head around the fact that my favourite part of IIAW, the guitars, are actually a synth. Nice synth work then I guess. The Dave Gilmour of the synth world was obviously involved.
