Anyone Else loving the pipettes at the moment?? Their latest song PULLSHAPES is their best tune yet! and the video is FANTASTIC!

I think they are great, a mix of indie with fifties/sixties girl group voices and looks, the songs are catchy and you hum them all day.

got an advanced copy of the album "we are the pipettes" and it is bloody fantastic... A lot of the songs have been released already - but hardly anyone (but diehard fans like me) know about that. lol

their last song - your kisses are wasted on me - reached number 39 in the charts. which is pretty good considering it was all from word of mouth.

Anyways, anyone who hasnt checked them out, they are touring all over the country the next couple of months as the album is due out on the 17th July - i recomend you go see them, their set is amazing live!

I got the album a while ago and thought they were awful, but then again I didnt really know what to expect. I suppose they are quite catchy, just not my cup of tea.

"Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me" is played a lot on Big L. That's where I first heard the song and I was impressed!

Another song I stumbled across and loved. Very summery and punchy.

Late to the party as usual....

Heard Pull Shapes on Friday on Radio 2 and have not been able to stop listening to it. Rarely listen to the radio and was so impressed and hooked by this song that I had to find out more. Very Spectorish and extremely catchy. I love it. And I'm almost old enough to appeciate the musical style and style of the video

Must try and listen to more of their stuff.

They're like a novelty act to me, surely it's all been done before every five years or so? oh Happy Days!

I think they did a good job on the album. I was always worried they were going to be a bit too twee but the Spector-ish production really helps the songs. I'm a bit miffed that they didn't put 'Simon Says' on the album though, easily the best pop song about bondage I've ever heard .

I remember hearing Dirty Mind MONTHS ago, I think it was before they were signed. I loved it. I heard the album being played in HMV and bought it right there and then.
