iTunes and iPod
Hi, wondering if anyone would be able to direct me to a website, or just tell me how to transfer my music from my old iPod to my new one?
Thanks a lot -Tom |

I don't use iTunes but RedChair's Anapod Explorer instead (http://www.redchairsoftware.com). This tool certainly allows to transfer music (or videos, or pictures, or whatnot) in either direction, in and out your iPod.
Oh, and you won't need stupid iTunes anymore. |

OK, thanks. When you say "then put them on your new iPod," do you mean via iTunes, or via the hidden folder?

You put the music on your new iPod in exactly the same way that you put it on your old one - using iTunes.

Thanks for the replies. I was just checking because I was sure someone told me once that if you plug in an empty iPod to your PC, it replaces the iTunes library with the music on the iPod (none). Ie. removes music from the library.

Scroll down to "Get the tunes off with a PC" - there are links to some free software. |
