0KB when transferring .rec files
I have been trying to transfer/copy .rec file from my Toppy to my laptop. Using Altair 1.250 in both normal and turbo mode the file seems to transfer, according to the on screen display and time taken, but the file ends up 0KB on my laptop
I have tried a full power reset and with no TAPs running, but still the same. The original file was around 1 hour on playback, so I split (and saved) the first 10 mins, but still 0KB file. Would welcome any ideas, suggestions, or similar experiences. Thanks everyone |

It's caused by there being non-standard characters in the file name. Things like ' : eg "Big Brother7: More Tedium from the BB House."
Take them out and you should be ifne. |

Check for characters in the filename that are illegal as far as Windows is concerned.
The most common culprit is the colon but backslashes will mess things up as well - use Altair to rename the file and try again. |
