Well, she knew if she'd picked Glyn then all 5 of them (the rule-breakers) would automatically be up for eviction. To have a slim chance of avoiding being up for the vote herself, she nominated Nikki. What's wrong with that

But they'll all there on their own merit to win the grand prize . Who would volunteer to be up for eviction

It's every man for himself/herself - self preservation. As much as I dislike Lisa and would like to see her face public eviction in her shoes, I'd have done the same. There is probably a perception in the house that Nikki is popular with the public and will be safe.

Exactly. She is in there to play to win. She is not there to save other people's skins.

Is the point of the game not to avoid being evicted?

Would the public had applauded her if she had put herself up for eviction?

Hell no. They would use the chance to vote her out. She probably knows that.

It wasn't good gameplaying, it was cowardly self-survival, and it's probably sealed her doom with the other housemates.

Now as for Richards expertly timed dig causing her to explode just before realising that the others were going to get to nominate, now that was genius gamemanship.

(And that coming from someone who dislikes him, and hopes the bitchy queen is gone soon.)

Lisa wouldve stood a better chance of staying if the 5 of them had been up, rather than just Nikki, as the votes would have been more split. Lisa hasn't "played a blinder" at all, she has shot herself in the foot, as I'm confident that she will be up from the noms of the other 5.......

Also, If All the other 5 rulebreakers were up. the "innocent 5" would have been forced to ALSO nominate each other, as nobody already up would be eligible... I think???

If Nikki had any sense she would have nominated Lea or Imogen, then one of them would have been up with her.

And if she did not step down from her podium for her beloved Grace, why would she sacrifice herself for Nikki?

Big brother screwed up.... they shouldn't have let them know who nominated who.... just that they have to nominate each other.....

I don't think she 'played a blinder', she simply played her only useful card. If she is up against Nikki on Friday, IMHO I think she will go.

What is it with HMs desperately trying to stay in the house when the public dislike them? If I was in there and knew the public wanted me out, I'd wanna be gone ASAP.

It's not fair on BBs part as we all heard Lisa and Glyn discussing nominating Nikki on Thursday night. Lisa said if she doesn't go tomorrow, she'll be up again next week and the next ...

BB knew that Glyn and Lisa were planning to nominate Nikki this week, and they set this up for Nikki to be up again imo.

But she was only hanging on to the slim chance of not being up herself . To be fair, I want her ejected as soon as possible because she's too aggressive but I can't begrudge her what she did

According to the odds the bookies are currently offering, they obviousl know (insider knowledge) that Lisa is up for eviction this week. So she will be out and Nikki will survive again.

Which would have made her look like the back-stabber Lisa is.

Firstly it's not very fair.

Secondly it's a dumbass move if she thinks like that anyway, because all of the others just went straight in a nominated her afterwards anyway. She should have put more people up with her then had a better chance.

Exactly the way I see it too. Still if it gets the acidic troll off my screen any quicker its a plus for me

She just didn't think it through at all.... the more people are up, the better the chance of survival.... Flocking instinct.

This is the main issue I have with this nominations twist

Lisa has to suspect she's going to be up. Lisa is always going to get evicted if up with Nikki, so how is that a "blinder"?
Its actually quiet dumb.
