The true sad part is if you compare American knowledge of Canada (their Neighbour) vs Canadian knowledge of Americans. Proven fact is that most Americans don't know that Canada has a Prime Minister, let alone his name (Paul Martin BTW) when asked a majority of Americans think that Canada's political leader is George Dubbya Bush”

The current Canadian Prime Minister is actually Steven Harper whose Conservatives beat the Liberal Party of Paul Martin in a General Election this February

In most Arthurian stories the King of Cornwall is King Mark.

I am not even sure it is an urban legend.

It is part of the mythology surronding him and the whole Camelot story.

Currently there is no clear evidence to his existance nor that of Camelot.

Just like a recent theory about Robin Hood, the whole thing might have been a series of stories created to help promote the linen industry.

do you have proof of this?
Anyhow, Nennius mentions him in the 9th century, which is hardly any later after Arthur than the canonical gospels were written after Christ.

If it's any consolation I'm a bit of elections junkie. For example there was an election in the Slovakia at the weekend. I dare say most people outside Slovakia didn't know that

I'm not saying everyone's eaten it, but it's not really so exotic - just thought she might have seen it or heard about it. No offence.
