We constantly talk about the art of bitching, but who does everyone think is the most manipulative towards both the housemates and the public?I think lea, richard and aisleyene are the main contendtors here personally.......

Glyn is the most surreptitious bitcher.

Grace was the master of it of course. Sice she's been gone one Lea and Richard stick out, though under the radar Mikey turns a few tricks.

Imogen... totally totally

Yeah, Dickie, Aisleyne and Lea are the main bitchers now.

I don't think Grace is a master of bitching, she's far too obvious about it. It's people like Glyn, who play both ends against the middle, that you've got to be on your guard about.

Ash, Richard and Glyn are the worst ,Imogen , Lisa and Leah running shortly behind.

It's only obvious to us because we can see everything though. She was a convincing liar "I never even mentioned Sam" "I would never look down on you " "I'm not shallow" etc etc

Hmm...Glyn is definitely turning into a bit of a manipulator. I think Ash is better at it though. She's managing to still keep some of those on the other side sweet.

Richard is too obvious as the other team have caught onto it so he's not as clever as he thinks.

Imogen? She's as thick as two planks.

Richard would get my vote. He puts on an act of being a negotiator, and is always so willing to 'discuss' any tensions with the parties involved. In actual fact his behaviour proves the opposite. He has never resolved any disputes, his own, or others. his answer to personal disputes is to agree with both sides of the arguement, back down when he is confronted, then carry on with his 'passive aggressive' backstabbing when things are sufficiently cooled of.

In short, He's one bitchy queen, but a b*st*rd to pin down.

IMO Aisleyne without a shadow is the most manipulative because not only does she manipulate the HMs but she tries to fool us in the Diary room as well. Richard manipulates in the house but he is pretty forthcoming in the DR - pretty open. Lea tries the feel sorry for me method of manipulation but I wouldn't give her a degree in bitchiness just an E for effort definitely not up to Ash's standards. Glyn is coming along fine and he is sly with it. He has in fact a 'sly faced' look about him IMO Imogen is just bitchy probably by nature and will bitch about anything but usually someone starts it and she just goes along for the ride. Nikky doesn't manipulate as such just does the tantrums to get her own way and pretty open in her bitching. Mikey if he is playing a game it must be keep you head down and fly under the radar couldn't really call him a bitch. Susie - haven't really got the measure of her yet. Lisa yep bitchy but not manipulative. Pete is Pete.

She may be thick as two short planks but she's playing a crafty game.Within hours of Grace going she had managed to convince Ash that she was her new best friend. She's shown what a good liar during the water throwing and "plastic" arguments and the old flirty laugh that was only previously heard in Sezer's company has now made a return since she's been cuddling up to Mikey,Grace's bloke.

There's also the fact that she's "you know,like...so not bothered if she's nominated and... like...so over everything and so like...whatever, y'know?". And then there's the little comments like "It doesn't matter what any of us think of each other in here as it's only what our friends and family think that counts" and ""keep your friends close and your enemies closer".Make syou wonder if she sees any of them as friends.

Oh come on ... ... it's dickie, the arch-manipulator, Queen of the manipulators.

I think Richard, Trashleen & Lea are the biggest manipulators as they make out they are only making observations or discussing it because they are worried or care or whatever, when all it is, is shit-stirring and bitching. At least the others are pretty obvious about it.

There's some skill in manipulation being shown by both Glyn (his country boy in the big bad city act) and Lea (ooh please don't vote for me I'm so vunerable- I got boos coming in dontcha know?) but the out and out winner is Aisleyne without a shadow of a doubt.

Richard is reasonably skilled at it too but he has made too many enemies to be crowned queen minipulater, the best one keep everyone on side and yet are really only out for themselves, so Yeah, Aisleyne definately.

I'd definitely peg him as the worst one, yes. Because he has a large portion of the GBP fooled as well (including me for a while). Crafty wee sod, he is.

Glyn, Lea (where Pete is concerned, anyway), Richard, and Aisleyne.

The master of all? It's a toss up between Glyn and Richard.

Manipulation is different to bitching/observation/honesty though – anyone can bitch but manipulation is a whole different art form and doesn’t actually need to include bitching to be successful.

To me, manipulation is bringing someone round to your point of view (or, the point of view you want them to have) without them knowing you are doing it – and in some cases actually making them think it was all their idea in the first place!

Big Brother itself can do this by the choice of words they use on the narration – for instance, they can say ‘so and so is called to the DR’ or ‘so and so comes to the DR’ it’s a subtle difference and the end result is the same, but one implies they had no choice in the matter and the other that it was their own idea to go – which can make a difference to the way the DR visit is viewed.

Not particularly a fan, but Makosi last year with the whole ‘stolen cider’ for the people in the secret garden manipulated Saskia good and proper – and for Saskia there was no way back.

Lea, is not too bad actually – she has so far managed to get Pete away from both Lisa and Nikki, not by saying you shouldn’t be with them, but actually saying she can see them together and they look good together. This obviously worries Pete and he starts to draw away – job done for Lea with no recriminations to her.

BBBB last week suggested that Aisleyne was in a league of her own when it came to manipulation. Can't argue with the experts!

Well now that you say that, like....ehm y'know like...she's definitely guilty of it

I was trying my best to forget how much she annoys me, like.

Glyn and Ash are streets ahead IMO but Glyn is playing a much better game from a viewers perspective. By the end of next week I expect Ash to be very unpopular with the audience.
