Endemol must have people looking at the forums so why do they not identify themselves?

It would be good to see them justify the decisions they make and what their aims are.
As their aim must be to make TV that we want to watch surely it makes sense for them to listen to our complaints and suggestions.

Does anyone else wish they would respond to some of the forums?

There would be several reasons not to do so:

1. They would become a major target for people who feel they have to take "figures" down a peg or two.

2. They would have to wait until whatever they said was cleared by the legal team.

3. Whatever they said on other subjects would be quoted elsewhere.

4. Whatever they said, it would never be enough to quench those whom thrive on moral indignation.

5. It would be an enormous waste of their time.

They may not even be members because anyone can view these forums.

They should do some kind of live chat for an hour once a week or something.
Representatives from Endemol who are willing to take constructive critisism and listen to the viewers ideas.

Well, I know it's different but on Strictly Dance Fever, the programme on BB3 in the week - Claudia Winkleman presented it - they used to comment on the DS SDF board, quoted posts and gave some posters namechecks. They also had some of the forum members as one of the 'independant judging panels' and some also were invited to be in the audience for the show.

That's quite correct. They asked for audience members through the DS, SCD forums, saying they knew who the true fans were. I was lucky enough to be invited there to watch a Wednesday evening show going out live and it was brilliant! We met everyone who appeared on the show, as well as meeting other FM's.

I suspect the BB production staff keep an eye on what is said here, even if they don't make themselves publicly known.

from what i hear Endemol use 4 forum to see how the show is seen. this is one of them.
i also know that the bbc do use this forum aswell(not the bb forum but the ds forums)

Could you imagine the kind of stick Endemol peeps would get if they identified themselves here?

ok what about this, we do have well known members on here but under another name, why dont you tell the mods who you are. i know some of the clebs that use the DS forums (spoken to them on other forums like living tv)

The Sun and various media outlets seem to use this forum as well. Apparently, according to stories on here, to leech uncopywrited eye logos or rumours to publish them.

The Sun seems to use this forum instead of watching for themselves. Maybe the journalist prefers to be in a wine bar at 9pm each evening

Exactly! Can you imagine the ABUSE you'd get?!

Remember Lesley? She was only a housemate and she got absolutely slaughtered on here. I'm still impressed that Cameron sets foot in here occasionally!
