Funny how people hardly complain at Mikey's blatant sexism

I find it funny how when people like Saskia and Grace say things that oculd only be interpreted as racist, they jump on their backs but when Mikey says a clearly sexist statement in his audition video, people just let it fly. I've seen derogatory posts about Mikey and I can barely count on one hand how many have mentioned his attitudes towards women.

I personally take very little notice of what someone says in there audition clips, everyone knows a good way to stand out at the auditions is to try and be controvisal

Well that might've been the case with Saskia last year, as she didn't say anything racist during her time in the house, but if I recall people were calling her racist, using her audition video to back their comments up.

He did get a lot of stick on here when he first went in. But he's too boring to keep up much of a profile imo.

As most people have said, the stuff said in auditions should be taken with a pinch of salt anyway, but in saying that I have seen a few things in his behaviour and attitude that back up that initial statement, but nothing really worthy of highlighting tbh. With the knowledge of his audition speech you could read something into some of his comments and actions, but they're not sufficient or conclusive to bring up as standalone items... can you think of any specific examples?

i think he just lied to get in. he has no backbone so even if he harbours fantasies of all women bowing to him, he cant enforce them.

most of the time though i cant understand a word he says so i dont know when to get mad.

I'd say Richard, Mikey and Glyn all hammed it up in their tapes.

It's probably because quite a few tend to forget Mikey's even there.

No, I can't! Glad I'm not the only one.. however when he was being forceful over the taking of Nikki's beer I understood virtually all of his rantings - plus the body language helped.. otherwise I tend to rely on the sub titles!

Very true. I have to say that a lot DSFMs are like the thought police, jumping on the smallest slip of the tongue and branding people as sexist, racist, bullies etc. The same thing happened with Craig's statement in his audition tape that he liked "destroying people's lives", when in fact it was him who was vulnerable and wore his heart on his sleeve. But the number of time's it was quoted last year to back up the idea that he was a vile human being.
