I know it is a pain to get one contract with electron card. Some say they accept it but they hardly approve when you apply with electron card as it is associated with low credit ppl.
According to www.shopspree.co.uk which shows the list of the websites which accept visa electron: Vodafone online shop is the only network accepting electron card and they seem to have much better approval rate. It is worth to give it a try and once you get ur first contract and make ur payments u will get the second one easily. |

All that card details are for is to verify the name and address you have given is accurate, same as when you go in store to obtain one you take in a photographic ID and a proof of address. Vodafone is not the only shop that accepts Visa Electron either as Orange also do, and again Vodafone don't have a much better approval rate. An acceptance or decline from a network is solely based on the information held on your credit file - if you are getting declined then contact Experian or Equifax. |

Try a pre-paid credit card like www.mycashplus.co.uk - it's issued by mastercard and is accepted as one.
It works like a PAYG phone so you can't get in to debt and as long as you have ID you're guaranteed to be accepted for one. |
