The last few times I have recharged my V3 the ring tones have changed. A message to this effect appears when the charge is complete. Last night I forgot about this and did not realise it was my phone ringing as it was not my usual theme! How can I stop the phone from changing my settings when I recharge the V3?

In my experience with Motorola, if you charge whilst
your phone is switched on it will change the ring style
to 'loud' but when you've finished it reverts back to
the original style you had set.

I am sure it was on when recharging and re-set to loud. Why should it have changed my call theme at the same time? I don't want to have to go through personalise every time I forget to switch off when recharging!

Each volume option has a different ring style set
maybe you have one tune for 'loud' and one for
'vibe & ring'?

This used to happen to me too, it used to drive me up the wall.

The phone broke on me anyway (well, 3 of them did ) so I got a refund and bought something that isn't a Motorola...never again!

I'm so glad I've read this thread.

Tomorrow, I'm buying a new mobile. I was going to buy the Motorola L6 which is just a candybar version of the Motorola V3 RAZR.

It seems that a lot of people have problems with Motorola phones - I had a Motorola C118 and it was very difficult to use, for such a simple phone.

I think I'll get the Nokia 3220 instead.
