Not been around for a while but think I remember some comment about "RGB feed through" being a problem on the above.
Have recently purchased a 210 and find that feeding RGB from the satellite to the DVD and then from the DVD to the TV gives an inferior picture to a direct connection between sat. and TV. It looks almost as bad as composite, including a reduction in contrast and severe fluctuation on character edges when viewing the Sky menu for example, have checked all settings and tested leads.
One thing I haven't checked is to record direct from SCART as above, then playback and compare to a direct connection from Sat. to TV, ie, to confirm it is just feed through that is poor quality and that the actual record/playback quality is OK, if that were the case I could use an RGB "splitter" and not have to watch the satellite through the DVD.
Does anyone have any info on the above problem, is it a known fault that can be rectified, if it can't be remedied then it's unusable.
Thanks.
