Ipod Nano problem
Adski
26-06-2006
Hi,

I have an iPod Nano, and have installed iTunes on my PC. However, as far as I can ascertain the USB ports are only 1.1. When I try and attach the iPod to the PC sometimes it is not recognised, or it is recognised - then disappears. When I do have a connection to the iPod and try to either update the iPod or transfer music it crashes the PC and restarts it. Additionally, when we are playing iTunes, (with a party shuffle) it crashes the PC also. Has anyone else had this problem, and cured it, or is it just me?

Cheers,
Adam

I may be wrong, but it sounds like a problem with your PC as opposed to your iPod.

What spec is it?

iPods are not guaranteed to work with USB1 and, if it does work, it will be rather sloooow.
