Lost number?

hi guys

im in a bit of a bind

i had a phonecall last week regarding some work (i work freelance as a sports coach), and this person left me a voicemail

I had all his contact details to get back to him, and unfortunately these were lost, and the voicemail expired this week, plus on top of that ive recently changed phones so the sim card having been taken out of my old phone has wiped the call record

im with tmobile, and i wanted to know if its worth calling them as im on contract and its a case of retrieving the callers incoming number...however i get the feeling networks don't allow such an option

it is a longshot, but can anyone point me forward if its worth calling tmobile, or just hoping the client calls me back??

Why dont you just call them and find out
Be a lot quicker than waiting on here for someone to reply with an exact answer.

fair enough, but i was only asking mate, i like fact that with this forum sometimes one can get more of an insight into a problem, and as u well know sometimes what we hear from calling a network may not be the whole story

It`s just a case of wanting to know what anyone thought b4 i went to the trouble of calling that`s all

I would call tmobiles customer services and explain what happened and ask if the voicemail might be able to be recovered from them as its stored on there system I would presume

Sorry if my post sounded rude or whatever!

Suppose you could be put on hold for quite a while!

Just though about your post and I dont see why they couldnt give you the number, as long as you can prove the account is yours I shouldnt think there would be a problem Thats if they have records of calls made and received

Good luck

doubt it because isnt the whole idea of clearing it after X days to save system resources?

worth a shot though.

good luck

They only have access to calls you make.

Cool

I really would have thought they could pull off that data from somewhere on their system!

Good luck!

Tmobile do not store voicemail and there is no way to retrieve them unfortunately. They can get details of your last dialled numbers but not incoming calls.
