Which Phone??
CowQ

Am looking for a cheapish phone with a really good battery life.

I'm not bothered too much about having a camera or other cool features etc, but would like just like something that will run for a long period with or without constant use.

Would prefer it to be under £70.

Thanks

The Nokia 1100 is right up your street!

Seems to have a never ending battery

i agree with salt, 1100 is good, on the same vein the nokia 1600 is a colour screen basic phone, and has a great battery life, lasts 3 days on standby mode!

Yup, I have a Nokia 2650 that I use with my Orange SIM and it's got excellent battery life. I used the phone for around one hour per day and I didn't need to charge it for around 7-8 days. If you don't use it a lot I'm sure you'll get around 10-13 days on the battery. It's nice and small too - it just fits nicely into my pocket and it's very light.

Some people might not like the design of it though - it's very rubbery on the inside - see this picture but it's got some nice features such as flashing lights when someone calls or texts you. It's also got text and multimedia messaging (meaning you can send and receive colour pictures on the phone). Another nice feature is the built-in WAP function - you have GPRS which lets you browse the internet at a relatively cheap price - some networks allow you a certain about of browsing per month for free.

You can get most of the specs and things right here - but note that the UK version of the phone seems to be an all-over grey colour rather than the red one in the review above. The Nokia 2650 should retail at around £40-50, it's just a matter of finding somewhere that sells it.

I hope you get what you're after.

Oh - and the link that I gave you to the specs - there are some user reviews on there - some good, some bad - but remember that a lot of the people who leave negative comments about the phone are just basing their opinions on what they think of the phone even though they've never owned one. I own one - take it from me it's a nice simple little phone.
