NAPA MP3 Player Troble, REALLY Need HELP!!!

I bought my NAPA MP3 player sometime ago and it's been working perfectly up until now. I've stored everything I needed on it from my music to my very important story I was writing.

I just plugged it in and it said that it was not formatted. I have tried it in two of my computers and one apple mac but still nothing is working.

If I format it then it will erase all the data on it which I really really do not want to do.

I am in tears now because there is really important stuff I need and I put my whole effort into creating some of it.

Please can someone help me fast in a solution!

Ok I have found out a little about formatting but not how to solve it. If I loose the data I got then I will be a broken hearted boy/man.

I've restored the very very important part of data by downloading PC Inspector File Recovery 4.x [freeware].

It is so good once you use it and good if you just have a few files. I mainly haven't but have some of the files elsewhere. The story was the main part!

I#ve stopped crying my eyes out now, really I felt like Nikki from Big Brother when her MP3 player was not working.
