I rang the number 0870 444 3333 and they advised me to sign up at

I have looked at his 02 itemised bill for last year and can see it was 100 that was dialled from his handset , I have just rung it and the operator says its free from the handset it takes you to the same service as ringing 0870 444 3333

So it can be done.....? unless the call is timed and the minutes are deducted from his monthly allowance

You are connected to a different biling system, this is why you cannot use the o2.co.uk website. I assume you got your phone from Dial-a-Phone or some part of their company.

100 is network services. It is a free call. Its not supposed to connect to customer services, however evidently it is if your friend is getting through to them.

I have never understood why O2 don't have a 150 service like T-Mobile. I think its so you don't know if your going over your minutes or not and spend more money.

I mean imagine having to call up CS everytime you needed your balance and allowances.

150 is T-mobiles customer services

202 is o2's

They don't have the service because the billing system cannot support it.

Shouldn't they get a better billing system then?

Is calling 02 on 202 a chargeable call or does it eat into your free monthly minutes

Thanks

it's a pain to find the info on o2 online

login
view my bill
click online bill
click Mobile Summary (under unbilled summary)
select your mobile number from the drop down
click Inclusive Allowance Details

They should really make it easier to find this info

I've got 12:10:00 hours of talk time left 06:40:00 hours of wap, 1961 texts left and 434K of gprs left

that's right, first time is the time you had at the start of the month, the 2nd one is the time you've used, and the last is the time left
