PC to LCD tv question
I am just about to buy myself a new lcd tv and was wondering about how to go about hooking up my pc to the tv. Problem being, PC only has VGA out and TV is only going to have DVI w/HDCP, Scart, Component, S-video and composite. Is there an inexpensive way to convert the vga out to DVI or Component inexpensivly?
cheers in advance. |

Replace the graphics card, probably cheaper than buying a decent VGA to Component/DVI convertor
![]() There are simple adaptors for VGA to DVI which may work as long as the DVI input on the TV accepts analogue (DVI-I ?). |

Yeah, buy a new graphics card. Won't cost much, that's what I did.
You can get them with DVI-out, as well as the standard VGA. There is even a new card by Sapphire that outputs HDMI. |
