How would they know
Hi I have a vodophone simply vs3 (made by sagem)I just got it.I am trying to get it ulocked.
What i want to know is would this invalidate the warranty .How would they know I had it unlocked. I want to use it in Ireland for about a month, using a meteor sim card. Then I can switch back when i return to the UK. I am on PAYG Can anyone help please. jmj |

All my friends are on Meteor. I am more concerned about the possibility of my warranty being invalidated. How would Vodophone know. jmj

Unlocking the phone will not invalidate any warranty.
If you call Vodafone they will probably sell you the necessary unlock code. |

if you dont want to pay just google the phone make and model along with unlocking (or something on them lines) see what pops up
