Hi,

I have just purchased the Samsung LE32R73BD LCD and the Samsung HT-XQ100 Home Cinema System. I am running these along with my Sky+ and PS2.

I have a few questions though on how to get the best out of my new toys.

Currently the cinema system is connected into the TV via the HDMI connection, this provides me with excellent DVD video and I have surround sound etc. What I want also is surround sound for TV/SKY+, how do I connect to the cinema system to achieve this?

Next, my Sky+ is connected via a basic cheap scart into the AV1 connection. Do cheap scarts make any difference? if so what sort of scart should I get to achieve a better Sky+ image?

Finally as I have only had the new bits a few hours, are there any suggested settings for the TV and Sky+ to achieve the optimum pictures.

Any help will be very welcome.

Thank You

I can only answer your first question im affraid. I just connected my tv audio out (L+R) to the audio in on the home cinema. The aux on the home cinema will play any sound that is going through the tv , weather it be the ps2 or the sky plus or just normal tv. Also I do think that a better scart will help but Im sorry because I dont know the best type to get.
