Hi guys,

I have just bought a Humax 17 LCD TV.

Love the TV but I can't get the remote control to work.

Have tried replacing the batteries and it still doesn't work.

Its weird cos When I press the keys on the remote I can see the little red eye light up ever so slightly on the end of the remote control.

SO I don't think its the batteries? Has anybody else had remote problems, Could it be the TV?

Its annoying because alot of the Humax features are obtainable only via the remote, as with alot of things these days.

Bit dissapointed, will be going back to the shop Monday.

Anybody else experienced the same probs?

Try pressing a button or two whilst looking at the end of the remote through a digital camera (or mobile phone) ... you should be able to see very easily if it is sending a signal or not. If it is, then yes, there's something wrong with the tele!!
