The best mobile phone ever made is the Nokia 6310 (and i).
This is the phone that customers still want today as replacement phones. It was the last mainstream robust phone to be made. These phones were built to seriously last. Personally I never liked the phone, but this phone was a legend in its own right. Espically to business users. |

I'm with Garyo2 The 6310i was THE connectivity phone and is still the most stable phone I@v found to use as a modem. If they could just come up with a 3G equivalent they'd have the market to themselves.

My choice would have to be the Nokia 3310 I still have my original model from 6 years ago when everyone had one and it still works perfectly except the battery life has gone down hill. Extremely reliable and great for its time.
My first phone ever was a Nokia 5146 (aka 5110 and 402 i think). |

The Nokia 3310. I remember when everyone had them, they were so popular. I bought one in early 2001, and it was £99.99, and these days you can get them for next to nothing when you buy airtime with them.

The 5110 was easily the best phone around when it came out. |

The 5110 was easily the best phone around when it came out. I don't think the newer phones should count in this. The old classic phones were the best, sure technology has moved on but back in the day there wasn't camera, bluetooth, mp3 etc it was all "can i got Snake"and the phonebook being well easy to use and creating your own mon ringtones and getting logos lol By the way im only 23 in case i sound 50 ol |

I have one and although I love the look and feel of it, I have to keep it switched off unless I want to make a call, because it periodically turns on its backlight for no reason (even though it's closed), and drains the battery. I rarely use a mobile, so it's I can live with it, but if I was a big mobile user it would be useless. Several other people who've had this model say it was useless on battery life although until I pointed it out, and they checked, they weren't aware of it's backlight problem. |

Well Sony Ericsson wouldnt get my vote! Had the K750i four months and the joystick doesnt work properly. Really cant be arsed to take it back as I had problems with a 6230 from the Link before and it was so much hassle its not worth it. Phones4U are probably the same.
Also, the screen scratches so easily and theres so much dust under there! Salt |
