My wife 'backed-up' the images & texts on her phone (6280). The images are easily available on our PC but if she tries to access the texts she's backed-up, the software asks for the phone to be connected.

Is there anyway she can access the back-up without the 'phone connected?

Thanks

I find if I use the back up feature I can't view my texts on my PC but if I just copy and paste them I can. I have a Nokia 6230

No she, used the back-up feature on the software.

Mmmmm, sounds the same as us. Looks like we'll have to copy & paste them. Trouble is, there's loads she needs to save. I would have thought that backing them up, errrrr backed them up!

The way things are now if her 'phone went t*ts-up, she wouldn't be able to retrieve her texts.

Thanks again.

a backup will allow you to restore the texts, but it won't let access them, probably for security reasons.
