i-mode version of Motorola Slvr
Does anyone know if the O2 i-mode version of the L7 is available yet, or will I have to go for the cheaper i-mode L6...

Just thought I'd bump this up as I've had no reply to my email via the o2 shop website (apart from an automated response saying I'd get one within 24 hours)... maybe no-one knows? I shall go ask in the o2 Store tonight,

There are articles on the internet which say it's available in July, and it is on page 17 of the the July/August edition of the O2 shop catalogue that I picked up today, and costs £129.99. But they didn't have any in stock in Lincoln, and when I asked if this was because they hadn't started selling it yet they didn't know. I was told to call tomorrow when they have a delivery to see if they get it then. In the Link they told me O2 are to stop selling the L7 plain, and will sell only the i-mode version but they didn't have it available yet - they did try to sell me an L6i; and the Carphone Warehouse were clueless about i-moe and thought I meant iTunes and tried to sell me a V3 on U-fix so I walked out). I don't want to have to buy the L6i, which they do have in stock, if I can get my hands on an L7i, because the L7i has a better screen resolution, camera and more memory than the L6i... though the L6i does have a free Bluetooth headset going for it. Forget iMode it's just a way for O2 to make more money out of you.
Thing is, I need an i-mode phone to update my Freeview Guide Mobile site (http://freeviewguide.peperonity.co.uk/) because stupid me pressed the "convert to i-mode" button when I first got an i-mode phone. And i-mail is quite handy (and free MMS too).

And i-mail is quite handy (and free MMS too). I bought my L7 Plain from Argos on Sunday and it was £89.99 but it seems to have gone up to £129.99 for some reason. I can't understand why I was able to buy mine at £40 discount at the weekend Anyhow, if you want the L7i then hold on, don't rush into buying an alternative and then wish you'd waited. If it's expected in July then it won't be long now. I'll be in town tomorrow so I'll have a look in some of the phone shops and see if there are any mentions of the L7i |

I've just had a look on the Motorola site and the iMode L7 has better features than the standard L7 so definately choose that one
