E900 fault on T-Mobile
MarkDW
11-07-2006
My girlfriend has a contract with T-Mobile on an E900, however the phone seems to be faulty:
1- Phone calls take a long time to start dialing if they dial at all
2- Messages often fail to send correctly
3- Signal randomly drops out even though another phone on T-Mobile near by does not.
My question is whether these are recognised faults with the phone that can be fixed by a firmware update before we send the phone back to T-Mobile (with all the hassle that entails).

Thanks all

No problems with mine on O2 works brilliantly....I would suggest it is faulty and you should ask for an exchange....Hope this helps.

E900 isn't a phone officially supported by T-Mobile. It doesn't happen very often but it can cause compatability issues. I'm guessing you got it from a 3rd party, I'd return it.

Weve noticed a lot of people calling about mms settings and the like for this handset, we obviously arent doing this handset directly yet at tmobile, we refer them back to the dealer (most cases its carphone warehouse) or maybe checking the samsung website??

only problem ive heard about the e900 is a bluetooth one, and that is only 1 person. they were sent a song mp3 format and an image, they could not open the image or set the song as a ring tone. not sure why may be a general fault just for that specific phone.
