I paid a tenner on ebay for my 1gb card. Even if it dont work you can sell it on ebay again and get your money back.

The 6280 is a pretty new phone, it should have no problems whatsoever with 1 gigabyte memory cards.

Mobile manufacturers usually announce that a phone "supports up to" whatever the limit is, but this just means that they designed the phone with that limit in mind, so you shouldn't expect any larger cards to work.

In practice, most of these phones will work with cards much larger than their official limit BUT they often slow down with cards that are larger than the limit because they weren't designed to cope with such sizes.

So basically... try going over the official limit if you want, but don't expect it to work as quickly as cards under the official limit.
