Hope this is not treading on any illegal stuff here - if it is just say!
I worked in thailand up until a year ago and had a Motorola M30 phone which i brought over there. Cost me £200 so I brought it back to the UK.
Now after a year I am getting round to setting it going and find that i need some kind of unlock code - it seems to want (from digging about on the net) a "subsidy lock code" from my Thia telecoms provider - AIS. This code seems to be an 8 digit number.
I have tried to get this but they say that they can't find an unlock code so I seem to be scuppered.
Are there legal remedies to my situation - ie getting it unlocked? As otherwise i can only use it as a door stop!
