Component output via RGB scart
Hi,
I notied the Toppy has component output via RGB scart, but what sort of convertor do I need for the best quality when connecting to PLasma or LCD. I ask this because there are diffrent types/grades of component output? And is there a difrence in quality between RGB and component, and how much? Regards Alien1x |

YUV is better than RGB scart but there's not a lot in it frankly, at least not at the sort of bitrates that Freeview uses.
http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catal...e=products_new That one would do. Don't forget you'd need to connect the audio cables separately because YUV carries only the video. |

IMO you will see little difference between RGB and component output from the Toppy. I use component from one of my Toppys because it runs an LCD monitor which has no scarts but does have component in.
You dont need any kind of convertor to get YUV just a scart to separate component cable. rhubarbe beat me by one minute this time
